Nothing at all bad to say about this song. I really enjoyed it. It had a consistent, catchy beat and amazing choice of synths to go with it. Dynamics, yeah I think you were right about that-- but it doesn't take a whole bunch of fancy dynamics to make a great track. If the consistent patterns are catchy and addictive enough, they will fare just fine. Such is the case with yours. I love the gated pads and whatnot. If you are considering doing more with this, I really can't wait to hear it. Nice work!

lantaren responds:

Haha, thanks. Also, Sidechained Pad, not gated :P same effect, pretty much, though. And yeah, trying to figure out what else to add to this.. haha, needs more complex stuff.. haha

Uh, yes! This is very uplifting, I am really jamming to this, so you know. I love it! The piano-sounding synth comes in at 2:46 and i'm just loving it. I don't know why this track would be FANTASTIC in a Trauma Center video game.....(trauma center is a very good video game series). I would give you a 1000/5. But ya know...they only give 5. I really have nothing bad to say about this.

djahmusic responds:

Thank you =)

I'm feeling that beat, no joke. I really, really, like this loop. I can see this on a space-atmosphere type level on a video game. I'm really liking this, a lot. I think that it can be tweaked a little in the end to make sure that it's looping smoothly, i can kinda tell when it's looping. Although, if that's done on purpose, nevermind what i said, but if not, try and see if you can touch that up. I love the effects and the reverb you used in this song. Mastering is spot-on and if i really close my eyes, i can imagine a video-game level in space...it's trippy. :55 and on really solidifies that theme. Nice job!

bdog705 responds:

wow thanks that means a lot im also considering making this longer and a bit more dynamic with more ambient sounds but over all glad you like it =D

Wow, I love the ambient feel of this! I think :56 is my favorite because I'm a sucker for piano sounding synths. I agree with others, as this could really be a song. I can't wait to hear the actual version. I think the bassline can be a SMIDGE louder. Only a smidge though, because it'll have that awesome effect, but if its too loud...then the whole song will be DUNDUNDUN and that would make us all sad... also I can see a nice piano melody somewhere in here.

Anyway, that's just my suggestion, ignore me if you don't think so. But whether you do or not-- i'm really in love with this song and eagerly await the finished product. Wow. Amazing...

aliaspharow responds:

I really appreciate the feedback dude! I made that bass louder for ya. PM me if you got any more advice or want to say anything about the new version. I'll message you and give you some sneak peaks when I'm done with it.

I was simply blown away. I love songs that feature the piano in an exclusive way-- where the piano plays a major role in the song. I guess i'm a little biased since a lot of my songs are like that, but in any case...I love the melody and the synths used.

When the bells came in at 2:04 or so, I think that was a very nice effect. Only thing I want to say is that there could be a little more variation in the song structure. I LOVE the transpose +1 at around 3:30 or so, though. That was very nice. This is a very relaxing song. I think touching this up and adding a few solo melodies here and there and maybe some chord variation in a few spots would make this track superb. This track is amazing, though. great work! I loved this.

Thank you for the review!

Me too! Most of my songs are like that.

" Only thing I want to say is that there could be a little more variation in the song structure. "

I agree on that and I'll attempt to fix it :D

" I LOVE the transpose +1 at around 3:30 or so"

It was +2

I'm glad you liked it so much!

This song is begging for more bassline-- I can feel it! I love this track, so much. The beat is smooth and the mastering is beautiful. Its not redundant at all like a lot of dnb. I love it! nice work to dodge your other work. XD

AeroMusic responds:

cheers mate - maybe it needs more bass movement but I was trying to go for a minimaly feel so I opted just for a simple sub. Glad you thought the quality was good - I didn't really reckon it was

finished my other project thankfully was getting sick of it ha -ONTO MORE DNB

If you need a background singer, I'm your girl. PM me if you want. I'm really liking the beat. I'm afraid I'm not too much of a rapper, though.

SinZLazTWordZ responds:

That would be awesome. I would totally enjoy some background singing if you wouldn't mind.

I'll get ahold of you.
Thanks for the review!

It ended so suddenly...but then I put it on the loop setting...and now I've been jamming to it for like 10 minutes. I love the stereo effects used here with the sequence and the pad synth. The beat seemed just right, I love this track, beautiful work. :)

Dovabeats responds:

Thanks, SynthGoddess! :)

This is great! The strings that progressed throughout the song are an amazing touch, it helps me fall in love with the song. At 1:55, that was so unexpected! Nice beat change, transitions could be a teeny bit smoother, BUT it's still amazingly good. That synth at 3:09, AMAZING choice. I easily fall for songs that nicely execute synth progression and variation. You used all the right synths here. I only wish the beat was a little bit stronger. Amazing work here, I loved it!

TeraVex responds:

Thanks man! It means so much to hear that from you!

You had me going from the first note.

...and that's all I have to say about this.

AdamCorporation responds:

Thanks!! :3

I make music so I can listen to it. Sharing it isn't all that bad, either. :P
